I have been interested in fast food toys since 1994 when my two children were toddlers. Like many families, we went to McDonald's restaurants and purchased the "Happy Meals" that each included a toy. Each time we got one we liked, we felt the need to get the whole set. Then we started collecting Burger King toys, and then Wendy's, Arby's, Hardee's, Denny's, Taco Bell and any other fast food toys we could find.
Then, we found that other families were doing the same thing, so we started trading. A short time later, we found we were searching for several other people, so we started collecting the extras and selling them at a local flea market where others could go to find the toys they wanted. The flea market lasted for 12 years.
In 2001, I discovered Ebay and started selling some of the toys that were still in their original packaging. In 2002, I expanded that to include an Ebay store, also called Debi's Fast Food Toys.
Now, I have an extensive inventory of over 15,000 toys, all new and still in their original packaging. This site is intended to introduce a portion of the McDonald's toys issued over the years. Eventually, I will make some of them, as well as some from other restaurants, available to purchase through this site.
